We are delighted to partner with this high-profile Australian Company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange! We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, organisational capability and persuasive communication skills to undertake a temporary position of Workplace Relations Specialist.

Reporting to Workplace Relations Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Provide support and effective advice and support to the Workplace Relations Manager, National Workplace Relations Manager, GMPC and other managers and employees around workplace relations matters including policies and strategies in increasing people management capability by providing effective coaching in people management issues; provide detailed knowledge of Fair Work, WHS, Injury Management/RTW and other related Legislation; any support regarding industrial disruption, unfair or wrongful termination claims through assisting with proactive measures such as risk identification, support with strategic options and effective coaching of people managers
  • Systematically build capability in key user groups and direct report(s) demonstrated by coach ‘customers’ to effectively manage workplace relations matters, contribute to the development of all training materials, utilising L&D / HR experts and using contemporary instructional design techniques.
  • Maintain excellent documentation and systems by maintaining a single electronic documentation filing system that is accessible to key users, orderly, complete, current and with excellent version control and traceability.
  • Strong customer service with key ability to provide stakeholders (internally and externally) with timely, effective support

  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly computer literate (excel, word, ppt)
  • Effective at building internal and external stakeholder relationships; balances stakeholders effectively
  • Confident when dealing with / presenting to Senior Managers, including Executives
  • Skilled at managing conflicting priorities and able to effectively manage own time
  • Proactive and focuses on continuous improvement
  • Team player, flexible approach to work
  • Friendly, approachable, sense of humour
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all people management matters
  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Psychology, Human Resources Management, Employment law or related discipline;
  • Background in Aged Care (desirable)

This is a 3-month assignment to start immediately. Excellent hourly rate.
