Network and Systems Manager

This client is an award-winning Managed Service Provider with a varied and high-profile client base. Due to rapid expansion we are seeking an outstanding and experienced individual to undertake the role of Network and Systems Manager. The role will be accountable for developing and continually improving the proactive support and maintenance of Managed Services customers and in day to day operations of the Network and Systems team in a fast-paced cloud-focussed environment. You will be collaborative, team orientated as well as being able to work autonomously.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Ensure Proactive monitoring, management and remediation of Managed Services clients’ Networks and Server infrastructure as required by SLAs.

• Implementation of new systems/features/fixes and upgrades as required.
• Continually improve the framework of the Network and Systems processes for improved service delivery.
• Escalation point for service desk for network and proactive support related queries.
• Development of documentation for client environments.
• Ensure Asset Management of client assets in internal systems is aligned.
• Additional duties as required
• Some interstate travel may be required

Experiences and Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing a Network Operations team.
• Level 3+ experience managing Windows and Linux systems environments.
• Experience with a broad range of networking technologies such as Firewalls, proxies, LAN/WAN.
• Experience with Azure, AWS and Office365 products and services.
• Experience with Server Virtualisation technologies

• Experience with a variety of Backup platforms.
• Experience with registry, command line, PowerShell etc…

Other Experiences (Desirable) 

• Robust experience with a variety of server and network technologies.
• Experience with RMM and PSA/Helpdesk platforms.
• Experience with cloud services
• Experience working with an MSP
