Micale Recruitment is proud to be partnering with this client, a high profile (significant media presence) and influential employee organisation in the state of Victoria. We are seeking an energetic and highly competent individual to undertake the key role of Information Officer, to join the small and dynamic team within the Member Support Centre.

Reporting to the senior Industrial Officer you will play an integral role in the organisation’s mission to improve the working lives of members. You will respond to member enquiries, providing solutions to workplace problems pertaining to industrial relations, welfare, discipline, OHS and WorkCover. You will also assist in meeting key strategic objectives through the communication of key messages, both during and outside the organisation’s campaigns.

To be part of this dynamic team you need to demonstrate the following:

•Experience in an industrial relations role,(preferred but not essential)

•Demonstrated ability to interpret and provide advice on industrial instruments such as EBAs, Awards and policy documents (preferred but not essential)

•Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

•Demonstrated ability to positively integrate within a team environment and work effectively with all levels of an organisation

•Excellent attention to detail, with a sound knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel

•Maturity and discretion to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information

•Tertiary studies in law, industrial relations or social sciences highly regarded
