This client is an award winning IT Managed Service Provider with a varied and high profile client base. Due to rapid expansion we are seeking an outstanding and experienced individual to undertake the role of Sales Support Officer .The environment is fast-paced, and is a rare opportunity for you to make a genuine impact in a company that focuses on a culture that embraces creativity, fosters innovation and offers real career progression. This will be your chance to demonstrate delivering results for customers and building strong customer relationships. You will be collaborative, team orientated as well as being able to work autonomously.

 Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Inputting and maintaining inventory lines and supplier details
  • Providing accurate quotes for clients in a timely manner
  • Processing orders from clients once quotes are approved
  • Liaising with suppliers for accurate delivery timelines
  • Continuously work with existing vendors to negotiate rates and discounts
  • Processing the delivery of products and supplier invoices
  • Maintain pricing lists, up to date stock information
  • Place orders to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained where required
  • Liaise with freight/couriers
  • Develop, create and analyse reports as required, including price variation, item usage and others
  • General administration duties as requested

Demonstrated Key Competencies:

  • Prior experience working in a Sales/Procurement administrative role
  • Proficient use in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Strong communications skills
  • Analytical approach to working
  • Sound administrative skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Expert at multi-tasking
