We are delighted to partner with our client a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting older Victorians and their friends and carers through a range of services. We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Client Admissions Consultant to assist help potential residential aged care clients and their families navigate the residential admissions process! This person must demonstrate leadership and be passionate about customers and customer service and provide customers with an exceptional and sensitive service experience.

About the role:

The successful candidate will promote the organisation’s brand, provide relevant and appropriate Aged Care information to future customers and influences, including clinical referrers and ensure an optimal customer experience along the residential admissions process. Moreover, the key objective of the role is to deliver quality leads into the Residential Service areas of the business, working collaboratively with the Marketing team, the Customer Enquiry Centre and the Residential Managers, to increase awareness and knowledge of the organisation’s services amongst potential customers, local communities and clinical referrers to find, attract, convert and keep new customers.  

Responsibilities will include working closely with potential residential clients and their families to take them through from initial enquiry to on-boarding into the organisation’s Residential Aged Care Homes by supporting families through the complex Residential aged care process; and conducting Residential pre-admission assessments, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Demonstrated skills and Qualifications:

Prior experience in sales and/or customer service roles

•Financial and commercial acumen with demonstrated attention to detail

•High empathy and emotional intelligence

•Demonstrated excellence in customer service and stakeholder management skills

•Able to build trust and show integrity

•Highly results focused

•Negotiation and problem-solving skills

•High level verbal and written communication skills

•Strong IT capability including CRM, Microsoft Office and other operating systems

•Demonstrated experience working in complex environments 

•Tertiary qualification in i.e. business and/or relevant commercial/ industry experience

•Experience in the aged care industry hospital discharge and aged care placement

•Ability to speak a language other than English
