Our client is a high profile not for profit organisation providing a number of important lifesaving services across Australia and overseas. An exciting opportunity is available for a talented individual to undertake the 6-month temporary role of Reporting Associate QMS within the Manufacturing and Quality Division.
About the role:
- Run the Quality Management Review Group to review the health of the Quality Management System and identify and drive areas for improvement in the QMS.
- Complete Product Quality Reviews for all components on an annual basis to enable component quality health to be understood, and issues acted upon.
- By provision of the right tools, systems and reports ensure that the right quality data and information is available to the business in a timely manner to drive continuous quality improvement for all processes and systems.
- Extract data from the QMS and generate and disseminate periodic quality reports
- Coordinate with the Performance and Analysis Team to develop and test/validate transactional/automated reports
- Provide training/instruction around using existing reports and generating customised reports.
- Develop understanding of the key information required by operational staff to understand their current quality priorities.
- Development of the suite of tools and reports to enable staff to retrieve the set of data relevant to their area of responsibility.
- Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by end users
- Through consultation with internal customers; identify, understand and articulate their quality information requirements and drive the implementation of relevant solutions.
- Build upon the report types and formats required for all levels of the organisation.
- Build upon the business-as-usual structure for quality information reporting including data extraction, data review and report generation.
- Consider the use of more advanced automated tools to analyse quality data and flag new items of interest / trends.

- Ability to understand and balance customer needs and compliance outcomes
- Experience in designing reports
- Proven experience in statistical analysis and its application in the business environment
- Proven analytical skills including the ability to reason conceptually and manage complex problems and provide concise technical summaries for stakeholders
- Experience in reporting for IVDs (desirable)
- Experience in a variety of information systems
- Data mining experience
- Show evidence of proficient/advanced IT knowledge in Business Intelligence tools
- Knowledge of regulations, such as the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for human blood and blood components, human tissues and human cellular therapy products
