Our client is a high profile not for profit organisation providing a number of important services across Australia and overseas. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and talented individual to undertake the contract role of Change and Improvement Manager for a period of 6 months.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Change Manager role drives transformational change across all functional areas of the organisation, resulting from the People & Culture initiatives. This role is required to engage with stakeholders from across the business, including senior management, to manage change initiatives. These initiatives relate to the implementation of new Enterprise Agreements.
WE VALUE YOUR EXPERTISE:
- Lead the implementation of Enterprise Agreement change initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.
- Advise stakeholders, on the recommended approach to engage the business regarding change.
- Utilise analysis and data to identify opportunities for improvement and translate this into strategic change initiatives.
- Engage directly with staff impacted by change, to understand their needs and preferences.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Provide expert change management advice.
- Participate in or lead interactive workshops and improvement activities to identify root causes.
KEY COMPETENCIES /QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated change management experience, minimum three years with proven history of high performance.
- Experience in operations of volume, rostered workforces.
- Knowledge of adult learning culture, change and social movement theory.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver agreed objectives within agreed timescales.
- Excellent Senior Stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Agile and or Prince2 qualifications (preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in process improvement methodologies eg Lean ,Six Sigma
This 6-month contract is available for an immediate start and offers the unique opportunity to work remotely for the duration of the assignment and you can be located anywhere in Australia. Excellent hourly rate negotiable.
