We are delighted to partner with our client, a forward thinking and innovative, and well respected Not for Profit organisation working towards alleviating poverty. The organisation engages with key decision makers in government, business and the broader community to achieve social change. We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Assistant with extensive experience to support the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role requires a professional with a high level of discretion, initiative, diplomacy, and communication skills as well as the knowledge and experience which comes from working with Board and Executive teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders.

About The Executive

The COO is a highly accomplished senior executive with extensive experience gained Internationally and in Australia, with a commercial and strategic skillset developed from experience in supporting organisations undergoing significant transformation, across industries including energy, healthcare and media.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will have a key role in providing a high level of effective, dedicated executive administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to maximise productivity, including monitoring deadlines, coordination and project management. This is a high-profile role and is the key contact point for stakeholders, (internal and external) and provides effective liaison and administration support to Management and Board committees, where the COO has key responsibilities across several committees. You will also provide a broad variety of administrative tasks including diary management manage travel arrangements, itineraries, assist with event management and ad- hoc support as required.

ABOUT YOU:

This role is fast- paced and has substantial responsibility that requires a broad range of skills and the ability to exercise considerable judgement, initiative, discretion and independence while interacting daily with senior staff across the organisation and with external stakeholders. You must demonstrate a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude, together with highly developed interpersonal, communications, organisational, problem solving and relevant IT/systems skills.
